Teen Pure Potential - Teen Mental Health

Teen Mental Health

This program is about promoting teen mental health and mental wellbeing in teenagers as they face increased social and academic pressure in today's face-paced world. We are all  born into this world to have a "human experience" without anyone giving us an instruction manual for how life works. Nearly every day, you can read in the press that teens are self-harming, taking drugs or drinking, experiencing great mental anguish from bullying, suffering from anxiety and depression, or even committing suicide. This programme is based on teaching the fundamental Principles behind State of Mind followed by specific lessons that relate to everyday situations that teens find themselves in. The program has been proven to increase resiliency and mental wellbeing in youth.

Promoting Teen Mental Health, Emotional Wellbeing and Resilience in Teenagers

Overview

The curriculum begins by teaching the fundamental Principles of how the mind works and how we create our reality and the world we live in. Lessons are very interactive with videos, games and role play. Once the fundamentals are understood, the subsequent lessons focus on situations that young people experience in their everyday lives and how this understanding will help them to navigate through things like bullying, problems at home, academic pressure, peer pressure, mood swings, stress and insecurity, to name just a few.

Now being offered for the first time as an Online Group Teen Mentoring Program.
